The mission
of Entrepreneur's PartnerSM ("EP") is to empower entrepreneurs
and to significantly increase their performance capability. EP will
partner with entrepreneurs in small to mid-size businesses, providing them
with experience, expertise, and ready access to "big-time" resources
at "part-time" costs. EP will enable entrepreneurs to strengthen
the framework of their business and focus on their unique abilities and
their organization's core competencies. The result will be to help entrepreneurs
work smarter, reduce their risk, maximize their results, and increase their
rewards.
The EP mission will be accomplished by:
- Assisting entrepreneurs to anticipate and prepare for the venture's
future growth and long-term health through a close, on-going partnership
with one of EP's highly successful and experienced Executive Partners;
- Supporting the entrepreneurs' efforts with access to every type
of business expertise through EP's exclusive network of successful
Professional Partners, as readily available as if they were full-time
staff, but at a cost as if they were only part-time employees;
- Helping entrepreneurs manage priorities and focus a portion of
their time and efforts on critical, non-urgent issues (Quadrant
II activities in the Time Management Matrix from Dr. Stephen Covey's
Seven Habits of Highly Effective Peoplerefers to critical
activities that are often overlooked due to their non-urgent nature).
Although Quadrant II activities are the cornerstone to the future growth
and long-term health of every organization, they are also the activities
that are most often ignored by entrepreneurs due to the lack of urgency;
- Moving entrepreneurs' organizations through their most challenging
time of "growing up their organization" while minimizing
the pains of corporate adolescence. With the help and expertise
of TeamEPSM, the Client's organization will be better prepared
to make the many necessary but difficult transitions through the various
no-man's-lands encountered on the journey toward corporate maturity;
- Maintaining overhead at or below previous overhead levels as
a result of EP's flexible contracting options and not having to hire
additional management personnel before they are absolutely needed on
a full-time basis;
- Maintaining the entrepreneurs' full ownership interest in their
organization by providing EP Partners without the requirement of sharing
in ownership or profit successes; and
- Reducing the entrepreneurs' risk inherent in the process of
searching for qualified, trustworthy management personnel.
